- For Vocabulary, make sure you label by chapters, write page numbers (were given to you today to copy), synonym OR definition, and create a sentence in which you use the word in the same context as the novel.
- You are responsible for 2 chapters a day and should come ready discuss summaries, scences you've visualized, thick questions, and vocabulary. I've attached a file so you'll know what days you should be ready to discuss. Students who are not coming to class prepared and/or do not stay focused during Literature Circle time are choosing to write out their SVQ/Vocab and work independently.
Be ready to turn in your vocab work and take a vocab test over chapters 14 through 25 on March 26th. - Behind the Mountain: December 3 through December 13 entry.
