LIVING HISTORY FIELD TRIP

     Living History field trip is tomorrow. Students need to bring a lunch or money to buy lunch unless they have ordered a sack lunch from their school account.  We'll leave around 11 a.m.and return about 2:15 p.m.
     Parents going with us should check in with Mrs. Edson in the office between 10:45 and 11, and then wait for us in the PAC.  Please remember to sign your child out at that time if he/she will not be returning to school with us. If you are going to meet your child there and want to sign them out, one of the 6th grade teachers can help you.  We think we have enough certified and non-certified volunteers to have at least 2 parents in each group.  We have wonderfully behaved children this year, so we don't anticipate any problems! 

AFTERSCHOOL TUTORING
     Afterschool tutoring is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a great chance to get help on homework, get caught up, or practice what students are learning about in class.

6th Com Arts:
Spelling worksheet due Tuesday.
6-1 Subject Object Pronoun worksheet due end of class on Friday
6-2 Final copy of It Happened to Me due tomorrow
6-3 Final copy of It Happened to Me due tomorrow
6-4 Final copy of It Happened to Me due tomorrow

6th Reading:
All Students: "Golden Touch" and Reading Log due tomorrow
6-2, 6-3, 6-4: "Book in a Bag" and scoring guide due 10/23. Mrs. McNellis, our librarian, modeled this for students today.
6-1: "5-Minute Book Talk" due 10/23, and students were given a checklist today.

6th Math: test today - no hw

6th Soc. Studies: - study notes/vocabulary
                               6-3: pg 15 is homework, due Tuesday 10-16 due to talking too much in class and not having class time to work on it.

6th Science: Science: Quiz tomorrow over Chapter 1 - Atmosphere. Students may use Guide-O-Rama with their books to study, take their notes from their IAN or play the review game linked below. Bonus page is also due tomorrow. http://www.superteachertools.com/millionaire/online/game1349921104.php
